Our Story

Herbal Sparsh didn’t start as a business idea — it started as a personal concern.
All three of us, Aanchal, Anindita and Philomina, worked long corporate years together at IBM before life took us into very different spaces — real estate, technology, housekeeping and facility management. Through all of this, one thing was common: we understood homes, people and what families expect from safe living spaces.

But the turning point came from our own experience as mothers, pet parents and homemakers. We realised that the chemical cleaners we had grown up using were leaving behind fumes, residues and skin irritation, and that didn’t feel right anymore. If we wouldn’t apply harsh chemicals on our skin directly, why should we apply them on every surface of the home?

That’s when we reached out to a close friend — a Masters in Microbiology who had worked with the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). She shared the same belief that nature already has the most powerful cleaning systems — bio-enzymes created from plants through controlled fermentation. What started as small-scale experiments in her home lab turned into months of R&D, trying blends of citrus enzymes, tulsi extracts, tamarind enzymes, coconut surfactants and natural antibacterial agents. We identified the potions and formulations at which these enzymes break down grease, germs and dirt at the molecular level — the same science used in nature Our goal is simple — powerful cleaning without chemicals.

And together, we discovered something important: Cleaning doesn’t require chemicals. It only requires the right enzymes.

That team effort led to the herbal formulations that are now the backbone of all Herbal Sparsh products — safe for babies, safe for pets, gentle on skin, but brilliantly tough on dirt and grease. We created it for our own families first, and now we are sharing it with yours. Today we have six completely herbal products — floor cleaner, toilet cleaner, laundry liquid, dish wash liquid, hand wash and vegetable wash.

Each of our products has a unique formulation designed for superior cleaning:

• Our Laundry Liquid uses Citrus Bio Enzymes and Coconut-derived surfactants for odour removal, softness and fabric protection.

• Our Toilet Cleaner combines bio-enzymes, borax and baking soda for limescale and odour removal without fumes.

• Our Dishwash Liquid uses citrus enzymes + glycerine + lemon essential oil to cut grease while keeping hands moisturised.

• Our Veggie Wash blends tulsi, citrus and tamarind enzymes to eliminate pesticide residue from produce.

• Our Floor Cleaner uses coconut surfactants and essential oils to clean deeply and naturally discourage insects.

All products are chemical-free, safe for babies & pets, gentle on hands, eco-friendly and biodegradable.
